Understand it.
Build it.
Use it.
LEAP Technologies is an applied technology training and innovation company. We teach the principles behind the tools, then put them to work through exercises, laboratories and projects.
Technology is best understood by using it
Training often stops at information. Participants finish a course, receive a certificate, and still lack the confidence to do the work independently.
LEAP closes that distance. Our programmes combine sound conceptual learning with structured practice, so that participants understand the systems behind the tools, solve realistic problems and finish with something they can demonstrate.
Learning is not complete until it becomes usable.
Understand the system
Principles, terminology and the reasoning behind the technology — not a list of steps to memorise.
Analyse, design, test
Structured problem-solving: the ability to design a solution, test it, find the fault and improve it.
Do the work
Exercises, scenarios, laboratories and projects. Application is part of the programme, not an afterthought.
Three ways in
Build a skill you can prove
Foundational digital confidence through to specialist technical subjects, with progression from one level to the next.
See programmes →Strengthen your workforce
Training built around your roles, systems and operational risks — from digital literacy to data protection and cybersecurity.
Train your team →Deliver more together
Workshops, laboratory sessions, faculty development and co-delivered technical programmes with schools, universities and training centres.
Partner with us →What we teach
Six areas, one philosophy. Programmes run as short courses, intensive cohorts and in-house corporate training.
Digital literacy and workplace technology
Productivity tools, collaboration, information management and safe, confident use of everyday digital systems.
Data privacy and digital responsibility
How personal information is collected, stored and shared — staff responsibilities, incidents and role-specific privacy training.
Cybersecurity
Phishing and social engineering, access and device security, safe remote working, incident awareness and cyber hygiene.
Data, AI and emerging technologies
Data literacy, practical and responsible use of artificial intelligence, automation and the tools reshaping modern work.
Electronics and embedded systems
Digital electronics, microcontrollers, sensors, embedded programming, prototyping and hardware-software integration.
Chip design and semiconductor technologies
Digital logic, hardware description languages, digital system design, verification and integrated-circuit fundamentals.
Build capability across your organisation
Programmes are adapted to your industry, your employees' roles, the systems you already run and the risks you actually carry.
- Delivered where it suitsOn your premises, at a training venue, or residential for multi-day intensives.
- Scoped to rolesDifferent content for executives, technical staff and general employees.
- Evidence of trainingAttendance, assessment and completion records you can keep on file.
- Practical throughoutScenarios and exercises drawn from the work your people actually do.
Learn it. Engineer it. Apply it.
- Clear instructionComplex subjects taught carefully, without stripping out the technical substance.
- Guided demonstrationInstructors work through the method before participants attempt it independently.
- Practical exercisesRealistic tasks, technical scenarios and structured problem-solving.
- Project outcomesLonger programmes finish with a prototype, demonstration, report or assessed piece of work.
- Clear progressionA logical route from foundation to application, and on to specialisation.
- Workplace relevanceContent reflects real tools, real responsibilities and real professional contexts.
Developing capability together
We work with training centres, innovation hubs, educational institutions, industry partners and technical professionals to widen access to practical technology education.
Partnerships can cover co-delivered programmes, specialist instructors, training venues and laboratories, curriculum development, institutional workshops and industry engagement.
